Urgh.

Yes and no, I either read recently in the newspaper one of the - forgotten what their called now but the people that collect the grain and sell it on said that they have bins full of GM grain which they can't sell. Their clients just don't want it so they are joining the line of people who want to ban GM crops because they aren't profitable yes, but what ever their reason if they are hopefully going to be a help in this regards great.

Hi Kathleen,

A good reason for not buying any GM foods, but the issue is labelling as well. If we see on the label it's GM many don't buy but often it's not marked.

I assume all USA product (defience flour for instance as one) are GM as nearly all there crops are, so don't buy them.

I don't buy anything that is from the US (if I know it is from there) and always read the labels. As you say though we often still don't know. It is good though that "they" are listening and that the market is so poor for GM here in Australia they can't sell it so are rethinking (if what I read is true)

We shall see, but this could be one of those rare times when money is talking in our favour
