I'm so glad I found this forum. I live on 1.6 acres and have started my vegetable garden, planted fruit trees and berries only this year. I am very interested in preserving and I am just about to purchase a pressure canner. I am thinking of getting the All American Pressure Canner after researching it. I hope this one will be ok as I wanted to be able to water bath preserve in it as well. The only thing that worries me is the pressure canning of low acid foods and the risk of botulism! I'm sure if I follow instructions I will be fine but it's still scary!
I will now have to start reading all the posts here and I'm sure I will learn lots!
